First Missionary Baptist Church of Pass Christian

An Ordinary Church Performing Extraordinary Ministries

New Worship Facility

Dear Friend,

The First Missionary Baptist Church of Pass Christian has been in existence since 1870 and we have weathered many storms. The church was once destroyed by fire and later rebuilt; also in 1969 the church received significant damage as a result of Hurricane Camille and was later restored. Throughout these tests and trials, the faith and resilience of our parishioners has been demonstrated and passed down from many generations with a strong determination to carry out the ministry and mission of the church in the Pass Christian Community and along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The ministry and mission of the First Missionary Baptist Church continue although we were displaced by Hurricane Katrina. We held worship service at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Annex in Delisle, MS each Sunday since Hurricane Katrina until we resumed worship services at our original location on May 5, 2013.

We are currently soliciting your prayers and assistance for the restoration of our new worship facility through our Parking Lot Campaign. Please click this Make a Donation link or the link on the left to help. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Redeemed by the Blood,

Reverend Willie E. Holt and

Members of F.M.B.C. of Pass Christian

Give, AND IT SHALL BE given unto you; good measure, pressed down, AND shaken together, AND running over, SHALL men GIVE into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal IT SHALL BE measured to you again.
